Board Member and Social Director Anita Davis has resigned her position due to health concerns.  Anita was elected to the Board effective January 2011, and has been a very active Social Director for the neighborhood since then. 

In her year of service, Anita organized many community events such as our potluck socials, yard sales, the Easter egg hunt and Halloween Trunk or Treat event for children. Anita has also welcomed new residents to the neighborhood.    Anita stated that she enjoyed meeting neighbors and helping them meet and greet at the events she organized.  Unfortunately, Anita is having  back problems that have slowed her down quite a bit.  As a result, she is concerned that she would not be able to continue doing the important work of the Social Director in the way that she wanted. 

The Board thanks Anita for her service, and wishes her well.  In the past year, many neighbors have commented about how happy they are about the sense of community created by all the new events organized by Anita and the Social Committee.  We look forward to seeing Anita at future events, where she can relax and enjoy them, rather than having to work.
