Welcome to Lafayette Oaks

2012 Leon County Neighborhood of the Year!


Lafayette Oaks is a residential neighborhood of approximately 350 homes located in Tallahassee Florida.  The neighborhood was founded in 1971.  It is located on the historic Lafayette Land Grant -- the large grant of land deeded to the Marquis de Lafayette by the United States Congress in appreciation for his assistance during the Revolutionary War.  Our neighbors enjoy rolling hills, stately oak trees, and a country atmosphere on the outskirts of Tallahassee. We have a neighborhood park, pool, community center, and tennis court.  Our neighbors gather frequently for potluck socials, neighborhood yard sales, and enriching classes.   Check the schedule of upcoming events by clicking on the Calendar on the left. LOHA Board Meetings

The LOHA Board of Directors meets at the LOHA Board Room at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.  (No meeting in August).   All Board meetings are open to the public.  Residents are invited to attend.
